Upgrade zabbix from 2.0 to 5

Hello, i have centos 6.10 and zabbix 2.0
I want to reinstall server (cause now it's the official way for upgrade to centos 7/8) and upgrade zabbix to version 5.
I can backup zabbix mysql database and restore it on new server, the question is i need to upgrade manually my mysql databse or on the first run of zabbix 5.0 will make it automatically?

After you've imported your database, when you start up the zabbix-server process for the first time, it should notice that the database is for Zabbix 2.x. The zabbix-server 5.x process will automatically issue ALTER, DROP, and CREATE statements to modify the schema to bring it up to the schema that is needed for 5.x
