    Import Template into Zabbix

    Good Morning...

I'm a bit different then most using Zabbix, in that I'm trying to get it to monitor my remote devices at my Transmitter and Translator sites.
This means everything from networking devices to microwave to video encoders. Fortunately, I have a LOT of MIB files.

So the first step is trying to figure out how to get my template imported...
I used SNMP2ZABBIX.py to get my MIB files into an XML. Which worked.

Then I go to import into Zabbix... LOL, had to go through and replace all the & symbols with the word and.

Then I ran across this nebulous error...
Import Failed...Invalid parameter "/79/name": value is too long.

Which name? item? application? Is there a max name length?
Is it possible to get a line #, so I can reduce it's length?

    Thanks for all your help!!

Iv found the answer if it says "1\Name" too long it is valuemapping 1 sub <Name>ToLongString<\name>.
To give my case trying to monitor Ruckus here , so iv converted it but lines like these "value_map><name>RUCKUS-ZD-EVENT-MIB::ruckusZDEventSystemBandwidthUtilExceedValveTr apSwitchCmd</name>" wich is 88 bits or 11 bytes wich at the top of our generated file there is
encoding="UTF-8"?> wich means 8Bytes(3 bytes overflow) so iv pasted this in notepad and replaced some parts mainly "event::"

Gosh this stupid error where there is no documentation on, anyway i wich u luck
