Import export between versions.

We are upgrading from 2.4 to 5.0. I found that the export format from 2.4 is not compatible with 5.0. When trying to import in 5.0 I get a "Invalid tag "/zabbix_export/hosts/host(1)/items/item(1)": the tag "logtimefmt" is missing." error. So I understand that (at least) logtimefmt is a required value for the import format. Is there any way to import a big list of host without having to edit the full XML file? A convert tool or something?
I found some scripts on Zabbix Share but are outdated and they are for migrate from a bigger to a lower version.

I have same issue exporting from 2.5 and importing to 5.0.

Is there any suggestion on how to save some time and move hosts, items, triggers ?

Directly upgrading your instance not exporting/improting to new?
Direct upgrade to Zabbix 5.0.x is possible from Zabbix 4.4.x, 4.2.x, 4.0.x, 3.4.x, 3.2.x, 3.0.x, 2.4.x, 2.2.x and 2.0.x
if you really have to keep old one running, maybe its possible to clone it and do direct upgrade and then export and import to clean new instance?
