How to use the liveCD ?

Downloaded the liveCD,
Run it on VirtualBox and it start well up to the login screen.

I know the IP address that the server got from my DCHP lease table,
tried to browse to it but nothing really happn (port 80 is open according to nmap)

Any suggestions what went wrong ?

Seems that actually the LiveCD doesn't acquire an IP from the DHCP server
The one that I was thinking it is actually a different machine

How do I login to check whether the machine have an IP or not ?

Hi,

Did you enable the "eth0" interface in live CD environment?

Additionally check if you enabled network interfaces in Virtualbox setup. Set the interface type to bridged adapter to get the IP from DHCP.
