Trigger dependencies between a template and a linked template

Hi,

I have a problem with trigger dependencies between templates (a normal template and a normal/linked template), here is an example of what's happening:
- I make a dependency between the trigger in "Template App SSH Service" and a trigger in "Template Module ICMP Ping", it works fine.
- My hosts have the "Template Module Generic SNMPv2" template, to which the "Template Module ICMP Ping" template is linked, so I can normally insert the "Template App SSH Service".
- If I try to link the "Template App SSH Service" to my host, it tells me "Trigger in template "Template App SSH Service" has dependency with trigger in template "Template Module ICMP Ping".

While as said before, this template "Template Module ICMP Ping" is present, but through "Template Module Generic SNMPv2", so the template "Template Module ICMP Ping" does not appear in the "Templates" tab of the host, is this a normal behavior ??

I don't know if that's a bug or if it's intentional behavior. It's not explicitly discussed in the trigger dependencies documentation.

Since you've indicated that you've added a dependency from one template ("Template App SSH Service") to a second template ("Template Module ICMP Ping") have you tried linking the second template to the first template? If you link them, are you able to apply both "Template App SSH Service" and "Template Module ICMP Ping" to a single host?

I have tried to link the first template ("Template App SSH Service") to a second template ("Template Module ICMP Ping").

But, all my hosts have the template "Template Module Generic SNMPv2" (where the template "Template Module ICMP Ping" is linked).
So, when i try to add the template "Template App SSH Service"; i have the error which say me that the "Template Module ICMP Ping" is already present...

Because, the template "Template Module Generic SNMPv2" need to be linked to the template "Template Module ICMP Ping" (default Zabbix configuration with trigger dependencies), i can't/wan't remoe this link.
