Upgrades

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade our current zabbix implementation, but unfortunately the location of the releases is not supported by our company. Are there any other source locations.

I am looking to upgrade from 1.8.4 so need to go through a reasonable number of releases.

You can find some of the RPM's at http://rpm.pbone.net/ and various other rpm finders.

If the location is blocked though might be easier to get a security waiver for just the RPM's you need, I believe most of the other locations would use the zabbix repo as a source anyway.

Just for your information - you should be able to jump to 2.0 and then to 2.2/2.4.
(2.2 is a LTS release).

Thanks for the responses, unfortunately to request an unlink means the the machine is then monitored foreever, and I'd perfer not to go down that route.

We have managed to side step the security by running the installs off the menu so thanks.


We are still working out the miniumum upgrade path, from reading I think we neeed to definately to skip a few.
