Greetings. I have inherited a rather curious problem that I hope you can help me with.
The people in charge decided it was a good idea to "clone" our production server(Zabbix1), replicating it offisite as a means of having a redudancy in place. (yes I know...not the greatest idea in the world). Anyway, they did so using VMWare and the new server (let's call it Zabbix2) it now running, with the Zabbix Server process apparently running just fine, but I cannot log into Zabbix2 with my Super Admin Account. I can reach the login but when I try to login it just waits and waits before telling me my user is invalid.
I know that in Zabbix1 it uses LDAP Authentication...so I am wondering if since Zabbix2 is a direct clone, then it has a lot of configurations with values from the original server (Zabbix1).
1) Can anyone please help me with some insight into what files I need to be looking for? Especially since the Zabbix Admin account was blocked on Zabbix1, I cannot log in with that either.
2) Is there a way to edit the LDAP configuration from BASH, if so where are those files located?
THank you in advance for your response....and please know that this setup was in no way my decision, but something I am now forced to deal with unfortunately.
