Zabbix server is not running: the information displayed my not be current

Hello, I've spent a good portion of this afternoon and the past couple of evenings searching google and related zabbix threads for answers.

I'm new to Cent OS (using 8), I'm new to Zabbix, using 5.0.2, and it's been a while since I've used MySQL (using MariadB).

I worked through getting everything installed, got the through the GUI login and I am constantly getting the "Zabbix server is not running: the information displayed my not be current" message.

I'm not able to start the zabbix server, because when I do a

ls -l /var/log/zabbix/

The only items in this directory are the agent logs, no server logs.

If I check the status of the server service, the results are below.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi, post end comand cat /etc/sysconfig/selinux

cat /usr/lib/systemd/system/zabbix-server.service file PIDFile= path point to same a server.conf or not. if not change the path either in server conf or /usr/lib/systemd/system/zabbix-server.service

I'd tried to write to the moderators to remove this, as I'd finally figured it out and got it running. That being said, thanks again as this was not an area I had checked.
