Zabbix frontend not able to fetch data

Zabbix agent is running on client server also telent to port 10050 is successful
Zabbix_get from zabbix server is not working
It gives error as

zabbix_get [8748]: Timeout while executing operation

Traceroute and telnet gives desired output
Can you please help me to resolve this ???
