Upgrading Appliance from 2.2 to 2.4 possible?

Hello,

first of all: i´m a total Linux noob.
second: My English is not very good.

The Question:
We´re Using a Zabbix 2.2 Appliance on Hyper-V.

Is it possible to Update Zabbix to Version 2.4?
If it is not, how can we Backup an Import the Data in the new 2.4 Appliance?
