Trigger on failed discovery

Hi here,

We've got several discovery rules and just found out that on one host adding discovered items failed because of duplicates. I would like to create a trigger that would have warned us that the discovery failed. Note that this should not just trigger on the item itself, but on the action followed (adding the items).

Would that be possible? I seem unable to find that.

Well, seems like a case for "Low-level discovery rule in 'not supported' state" in the "Event Type" condition of "Internal event actions", review it here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation..._event_actions

That would certainly help. It's going to give a one-shot message so i'll have to get it forwarded to a ticket system. It would have been nice to get a trigger so that it remains visible.

Are you looking at the "Internal event actions"?
