Zabbix Install CentOs6 64bit Discovery Failed

Hi, we are deploying our first Zabbix install. We have deployed as Root, and installed Fping. We are attempting to run a discovery using icmp ping. We can ping out and get responses using FPING, but when we run discovery it fails to discover anything. We can manually ping the hosts as root - but no results. Discovery is on in the zabbix-server.config. Please see our discovery screenshot. Do we need to create a Zabbix user and deploy Zabbix ?

Hello and welcome to Zabbix forums!

You don't need to deploy Zabbix or modify users in this case.

The reason why you don't get anything discovered is because you don't have correct checks specified in "Checks" section.

Remove the Zabbix agent "agent" check (the syntax is incorrect there anyways) and add only ICMP ping check there.
