Minimum update interval for items with types of SNMPv2 or Zabbix agent

As far as I remember, it was recommended that minimum update interval to be 1 min for items with types of SNMPv2 or Zabbix agent.

Now I could not find the recommended value for minimum update interval and would much appreciate if I'd be pointed to the related documentation. Thanks very much!
