Zabbix Proxy - User Parameters

Hi,

I have created some scripts on the server and configured User Parameters in the Zabbix configuration. I created some custom items (type=Zabbix Agent) and added scheduled to run the scripts at certain day and time.
When it is directly connected to the Zabbix server is working as expected.
When it is connected to Zabbix Proxy is not working.

Can you please provide more information?

You say this is a Zabbix-agent check - is this check on a remote host or is this on the zabbix server itself?

If this is a zabbix agent check - can you copy / paste your include statement from zabbix_agentd.conf

There should be no difference in monitoring this with the server or proxy as the zabbix-agent should be the one executing the script.

In addition - have you made sure to include the ip address (for the proxy) in "Server=" parameter in zabbix_agentd.conf ?? Otherwise the proxy will be refused when it attempts to make the connection.
