Hi, new to the forum!
I am not sure if this is possible but we have recently virtualised our zabbix master server, to Hyper-V and we now have an issue with sending out SMS alerts
The original physical machine had a 3g USB dongle in it to allow it to send texts out if there was a network related outage, which worked perfectly
The issue we have is that we cannot map USB through to the virtual equivalent of the Zabbix server through Hyper-V.
Is it possible to set up an internal SMS relay server that zabbix can "point to" to send the messages out, e.g. a smaller physical server with the USB dongle in? (If so is there any recommended software for this?)
Are there any scripts available to do this where I can tell zabbix to use an internal server? I can see from the plugins that there are some available but they use external SMS services which we are trying to avoid using.
