Trying to monitor datastores for my sphere hyper-visor servers using ssh item

    Hi
I have a few v sphere hyper visor servers. I created ssh items to monitor the data-store free space on these servers. It worked flawlessly for a few months but now all of these items have stopped working .

I created new ssh item for monitoring datastores these items don't get updated at all and yet remain supported

The old items which were working perfectly before seem to give the following errors
1:cannot connect to ssh server : connection refused
2:cannot read data from ssh server

    its not

Check if SSH agent disabled on vSphere side.
It's an issue for security and sometime the Special Security Team (if you have one in your office) disable all SSH connection on ESXi servers.

Enabling root SSH login on an ESX host (8375637)
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

ssh is not disabled on server side. I can login and use the same shell script command from terminal of my virtual machine which has zabbix server installed. I can also do the same using putty from my pc.

I should add , I created the same ssh items again these items dont give any errors but they also are not getting updated. They show up as supported as opposed to the old items which are unsupported now . The new items dont have any data in them when i check them in latest data tab in zabbix. please refer to screen shots above
