Export custom triggers from discovery rules

    Hello,

    I am using Zabbix 2.4.4.

I have created one personal template called "DEVELOPMENT Template" and it is linked to the default "Template OS Linux", so my DEV template now inherits all of the items, triggers, etc. from the default OS Linux template.

That's great. I needed to create some custom items and triggers in my template along with these inherited from the original default template. That's fine, too.

But I needed to create some custom trigger prototypes for the default inherited "Mounted filesystems" discovery in my DEV template, e.g., trigger for used disk space greater than 90% (there is no such trigger prototype by default). I did not created the trigger prototype in the original OS Linux template, because I do not want to edit it and later I want to create another DEV template (number 2) with other custom trigger prototypes. The scheme is like this:

OS Linux template > standard trigger prototypes
DEVELOPMENT template > custom trigger prototypes
DEVELOPMENT template 2 > other, different trigger prototypes

When I exported my first DEV template, deleted it, and imported it back, all of my custom items and triggers kept, they were preserved and saved. But only the custom trigger prototypes were NOT...

So my question is: how to export all of my custom triggers including these from the discovery rules?

I suppose that they are not exported, because they are created under the original OS Linux template. Am I right?

I have found this thread, but there is no answer: https://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40540
