How does the Web Scenario "SSL Verify Peer" authentication option work?

    Hello all,

I understand that the SSL Verify Peer authentication will check to verify the SSL cert of a website, but how do I upload the website's certificate to Zabbix's default system certificate authority locatin?

    Thank you,
    Mac

Ah, got it. Thank you! So essentially, you're saying if I just check that "Verify SSL Peer" box, it should work. Is it possible to create a trigger that will generate an alert if the verification fails?

If you are verifying remote websites authenticity, you don't need to upload that cert into your Zabbix server. On your Zabbix server you need all the CA certs, which help to verify the cert, what website is presenting to you.

TBH, I have never tried.. I suppose, it will fire somekind of error at some point. But can you create a trigger for exactly that, I do not know.
