Sonicwall Monitor/Count VPN through SonicOS API

Good day to all!

I am very new to Zabbix, I was given a task to count and display the number of VPN user from SonicWall to Zabbix, to find out that they have no counter in their SNMP MIB. I have found a way to get VPN information from SonicWall API from this forum https://community.sonicwall.com/tech...-ssl-vpn-users , I have tested the script and found it working. The problem is I don't know how to get the information directly from SonicWall to Zabbix.

SOLVED! I use sonicwall API then run script at zabbix server to request JSON data from the sonicwall then send to zabbix trap. =D

Hi, Can you be a bit more specific? When you create the "Item" is it of the HTTP type, or Script? How do you handle the return of the data?
Im use Zabbix 5.2.x
