Cannot create host(s)

Hi. I am dumbfounded, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using zabbix 2.4.4 and postgres 9.4.1. I am trying to "create host" manually and they will not show up, no matter what I do.

I go to "configure hosts", then "create host"

for the hostname I put the IP address, for the visible name I put the IP address along with a description.

I add IP information for the agent and snmp, and link it to the template I want to use.

I click "add host" then it goes to a white screen, then I go back and search for the hostname I just added, nothing. its not there.. I have added about 10 hosts & they just disappear. not searchable by IP or hostname, and the hostcount on the front page doesn't increment to indicate there is a new host.

Adding hosts through discovery rules/actions works perfectly..

Is this a bug? I have my debugging level set to "4" and can't find any indication of an error in the logging..

Hi,

Just to confirm, when you go to Configuration > Hosts and in the upper right, for Group you select all in the pull-down, you see no hosts?

No.. At one time I was able to add hosts manually.. just not anymore.. And hosts are being added daily through the discovery rules/actions.. I just cannot add anything manually

& to compound on that when I edit an existing host, and save it.. the changes arent saved... arrgh

Update, I downgraded the web interface from 2.4.4 to 2.4.3 and I am able to change/add hosts again.. Instead of getting a blank screen after i change the manually editted host I get the green splash "host updated".. and it worked... bug or configuration issue?
