    Integration with The Things Network

We are currently looking to install Lorawan automatic meter readers for gas, electric and water for around 10-20 schools. For this we plan to use The Things Network (public) network and gateway. I would like to use Zabbix to receive the data and then Grafana for the front end for users to see usage data.

Does anyone have any experience in receiving data from TTN via HTTP Integration? https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/doc...ications/http/ or any other method that would work well?

I'd rather not use external checks as this could impact the performance of the server

I don't want to understand your problems, but maybe this will work for you - https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...itemtypes/http
First, figure out what data the system can give you, then figure out how to access this data, and then look for a suitable tool. Zabbix can do almost anything.

I have been researching the HTTP agent but i'm unsure on the following.

The TTN network will send out a HTTP post when it receives a payload of data. Can the HTTP agent for zabbix listen for that message or can it only do a get based on its own timing?

It would be great to have TTN feed IoT data into Zabbix and utiliise the features of zabbix to monitor and set alerts.

The documentation for the link that I have already written says:
«Request type Select request method type: GET, POST, PUT or HEAD»
You can find out the rest of the features yourself.
        Working...
