My Zabbix version is 2.2.8 and i am trying to create a host based on a discovery rule. I can create hosts just fine. I am also able to add templates to the hosts. The only thing i am so far unable to do is pass macro's from the discovery rule to the host templates. In my case i have two variables {#IP} and {#DOMAIN}. If i use them in the discovery rule to create items / host prototype they work great. But when i use them inside the template i assigned to the host they do not exists.
How can i pass the macro from the discovery rule to the host prototype?
