/var/lib/pgsql/12/data/base/ folder growing constantly

The /var/lib/pgsql/12/data/base/ folder has become too large. It grows 10 GB in 1 week. folders name for example ; 16385 folder has become too large. 30 GB. file name for example 17520 file 1 TB. what is this problem. how can he solve. I constantly have to increase the size of the var folder

If you hold data from many items for a long time, you need to expect to require a large amount of disk space for the database. What is your nvps? How long are your items configured to keep their data (history storage period)?

what is the standard polling interval you've defined for your items. If it's below 5min (with very large no of items), there is possibility of DB size increase. apart check whether housekeeping is happening properly or not. that might be another reason.
