When Zabbix use UDP 10050 ?

Hi !

I have a question :
When Zabbix use UDP 10050 and UDP 10051 ? (instead of TCP and why ?)
I haven't found any official (or not) documentation on this point...

Zabbix agent active and passive checks use TCP
SNMP checks use UDP

Zabbix does not use UDP on 10050 (or any other UDP port) for "internal" communication but rather TCP only.
