I am new to Zabbix, coming from Zenoss 4.x, and so far it's been fairly easy to get things going. Since we are a mostly Windows shop, I'm not trying to get event logs working how I'd like them to work.
I understand how to ingest logs- that is working very well so far. I'm currently using the Active Agent to send all Error and Critical events from Application and System logs. My questions are:

- Is it possible to get the event log "value" data (the event ID and actual event log text) to display in the Event detail page?
Currently under Operational data, it shows a very truncated view of the event source and event value. If I want to see the full information, I have to go into the Item's history page, which then shows everything. - Can I get the event ID and event text in email alerts? I've studied/ tried a bunch of the variables and can't find one that seems get the info I want into the notification.
