    Agent2 reading root permission files.

    Good morning all,
I've been working with Zabbix-agent on CentOS 6,7,and 8. I've had great luck getting the agent to start as root and read files like /etc/sudoers. I have recently tried to use the zabbix-agent2. I've found a single snafu, so far, in that it is having trouble reading root level permission files. I've done some google searches and searches here, but have come up with solutions for zabbix-agent, not zabbix-agent2. Is there something I'm missing that is so obvious I'm going to consider an occupational change to a school custodian?

I saw that in the documentation. I switched the test server back to the original agent and everything is working again. I was hoping the "or something" was going to be a golden egg that I hadn't thought of. Thank you for confirming my suspicion.

AllowRoot, User Not supported because daemonization is not supported.
So I think you are stuck in agent1 in case you need to run it as root. Or you end up with the hell of file ACL-s or something..:P
