We have two zabbix servers running at a different location. Zabbix server A monitors all the host and we just brought up Zabbix server B. Wanted to know if the below options are supported and how we can do it. We haven't decided which option to do but would help to get your thoughts as we're new to zabbix. We're running 5.0.5 zabbix version.
1) Zabbix Server A monitors Zabbix Server B and vice versa. So Zabbix B's job would be just to monitor the health condition of Zabbix A.
2) Zabbix Server B monitors Zabbix Server A and vice versa. And also Zabbix B monitors also the hosts that are configured on Zabbix A. (I assume we can replicate the database and push it to Zabbix B server and Zabbix B Server can just read the DB) Or do we need to configure all the hosts on zabbix server B to align with Zabbix server A? What's the best approach?
