net.if.in[eth0,bytes] not supported

I'm getting this error message in the agent's log file

active check "net.if.in[eth0,bytes]" is not supported

I'm running the agent on a Windows virtual machine (NAT mode), server on Redhat 6 virtual machine, and I renamed the network interface in Windows to "eth0", restarted both the agent and server, and still the same issue persists. The passive checks are all working.

Any ideas?
