Fortinet 600D Firewall not able to connect to Zabbix server on via SNMP.

We have a Fortinet 600D firewall which is not able to communicate with Zabbix server via SNMP. However older Fortinet firewalls were able to connect. Please help.

On the server (or proxy) monitoring the new firewall, debug with snmp command line utilities. You'll have to verify the firewall config, is there a whitelist? Community name? "firewall rule"? Until it works from the command line, it's not a Zabbix problem.

I will recommend to resolve the connections issue on your firewall.

SNMP over port 161 is typically UDP based, you cannot reliably check the status via a tcp based protocol (telnet), do an snmpwalk or snmpget and see if the firewall responds to the requests.
