zabbix server is not running

I have installed zabbix server 2.4 on ubuntu 14.10. However, "Zabbix server is not running: the information displayed may not be current." message is on the dashboard.
what should i do?

Do you get an error in the command line that it wont start. I am having the same issue and was wondering if you had any luck. Thanks!

Hi All,

I have installed and configured Zabbix server in CentOS with the help of Zabbix forum.The webinterface just showing and the error message came in the top of the web page like " Zabbix server is not running:the information displayed may not be current".I have edited the configuration files and restart the zabbix service.However the error message still there.

And another thing is Zabbix server is running and the value is no.It is showing in Zabbix status column.
