Reporitng on updates

Hi,

I'm new to Zabbix and wondering is there a way I can setup a report to run once a month (or even manually if I have to) to see which servers I'm monitoring are waiting on updates?

The available reports in Zabbix do not provide that. Possibly you're interested in ZBXNEXT-248.

Anyhow, you could think of using the Zabbix API to query the information and generate a report by yourself.
Another option might be to use a report engine like BIRT, Jasper Reports, Pentaho Report Designer, ... to make beautiful reports by querying the database directly.
