    Configure pfsense in active mode

I've installed the latest version of Zabbix successfully on EC2 and trying to upload data from a pfSense installation.
I would like it to be active so that I wouldn't need a static IP for my pfSenseinstallation.
I have configured a new host in Zabbix, with no template and no interface (as it should be active) and installed the agent on my pfSenseinstallation. configured the URL of my Zabbix instance + port 10051.
    I have a few questions:

    1. If this should be an active agent, why do I need to configure the Zabbix 'Server' shouldn't it be only the 'Server Active'?
    2. I don't see any new data on my Zabbix installation. Any idea how can I debug it? the pfSense logs show the following with no errors and the host name is the same in both configurations. The Ec2 installation is visible and all ports are open (for now)
