    Problem with chart information

I have a problem in the collection of the discovery items ifHCInOctets and ifHCOutOctets, the items are collecting every 3 minutes, I tested with a longer collection time and the problem of the non-rectilinear graph as in image 2 solves, but I cannot leave the collection of data longer than 5 minutes. The current time is 3 minutes.
I would like to know if there are any pre-processing items that fix the items in the graphs or any configuration for Graph 1 to be the same as in Image 2.
    Details about the item:
    Collection time 3 minutes.
    Item: ifHCInOctets and ifHCOutOctets
    Unit: bps
    Type of information: Numeric (integer)
Pre-processing: Changes per second and custom multiplication (8)
    SNMP agent version: 2

    Image attached
Image 1: How I am receiving the ifHCInOctets item with this configuration above
Image 2: How would you like the graphic to look

Do you want to get rid of the gaps in the graph or smooth it out?

Then you need to increase the delay between checks or use an average. I'm not sure if you can do that with preprocessing.

I want to solve this directly in the collection of the item not with functions in the graphics

Sorted out! to solve this problem of poorly designed graphics it was necessary to update the Switch firmware that we were monitoring via SNMP, right after the graphics started to be generated very uniformly.
