Change Update interval (in sec) on event / trigger

    Hello,
a thing I don't see in zabbix is the possibility to have a variable update interval based on trigger status.
For example: The trigger status is OK and I monitor every 10 minutes, after the trigger status go NOT OK and I need to check every 30 seconds, after go again on OK and I check every 10 minutes.
How can I reach the gool?
    Thank you

Unfortunately this is not supported yet.

    See: ZBXNEXT-1414
And possibly vote for it. There is also the option of (co-)sponsoring, when just voting feels not to be enough

I've voted for it and also posted an idea for make this available without a lot of working.
The idea is to use the "action" function yet present in zabbix by execute a shell action that change the item.
You can call API from shell but is not easy to implement without variable. The flow can be 1) trigger go into PROBLEM 2) execute action "call API and alter item's update interval" 3) trigger go into OK 4) execute action "call API and alter item's update interval" .
