My Zabbix server cannot get VMware guest data from hosts which have been there before VMware discovery started running. All ESX and hosts automatically created by VMware discovery are working fine.
The best solution I was able to find was add "Template Virt VMware Guest" to the hosts. But this still gives me back the error "Unknown virtual machine uuid."
In latest data I can see that {HOST.HOST} is translated to hostname instead of UUID by working hosts. But even creating an item with UUID instead of {HOST.HOST} doesn't change anything.
The Zabbix server log gives me "unknown error".
I hope anyone has an idea.
