Host Item value assign to user macro as a variable

I have an Item check that is an HTTP agent that grabs JSON data from an API. I have a few dependent items that preprocess the data and get the correct values from JSONPath. I need to use one of these data points for another Item check.

Is there a way to assign the item value to a user macro so i can use it in a future item check?
