    Zabbix agent as proxy

    Hi everybody
    I'm new on your forum, first of all sorry for my english...
    I'd like to know if it was possible to use a windows zabbix agent as a proxy? In case of It's no possible to install a proxy on a remote network behind a firewall.

    I think agent and proxy functions should really be merged so that this scenario would be possible. By default every agent would be a "lightweight" proxy with no persistent storage and answering queries only for its own items.

          By nature proxy is closer to server than to agent. It is basically a stripped down server.
