how can i monitor a mountpoint

    Hi @all,

have a litte problem: I have to mout a M$ smb share on an sles9 server to exchange data but the M$ share is quite unstable and linux unmounts the filesystem.

I created a triggger {linux:diskfree[/mnt/server].nodata(180)}=1 but this trigger never becomes true, because zabbix set the item as unsupported as soon as the filesystem was unmounted.

But i need a notification when the filesystem is unmounted on the server.

does anybody have an idea how to do so?

    Many thanks is advanced,

I would use vfs.file.exists[<file>] for a file from the mountpoint.

Another option could be creating a script running "mount | grep <share>" and use it as a User Parameter.
