A question about nvps and history_uint

Hi all, I got a zabbix server with nvps=1003.61.

Yesterday, I found mysql database is too large, which history_uint table has nearly 490 million records. So I truncate this table, today I count the table, it has almost 70 million records.

So, if I have a nvps=1000, which means 1000 record will be record in the history_uint table? Can I found which hosts requires the most nvps?

    Here is my system information:

    Hello.

About the NVPS nad size of your database.
At first try store les data and make les checks.
For your 600host you have almost 150k items.
    It's 250items per host.
I do not know what kind of host you have but this is a lot in average - do you need all of them?
How often you make the checks?
    Do you use default templates?
Try think if you need every check every minute for example.
Try use preprocessing function Discard unchanged with heartbeat for checks you need very often.
What is your default time for keep the history which store every checks?
Is it possible make this time shorter?
All this basic things have direct impact on your NVPS and DB size.
Note: most NVPS host will probably have the most items with most frequently checks (some network component for example)
