    1) Create a host for HP 1810 switch
    2) Configure "SNMP Interfaces" (ip address)
    3) Configure "Macros" -> {$SNMP_COMMUNITY} -> "public"
    4) Add "Template SNMP Device"
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

It looks like you didn't install any MIB.

          For Ubuntu try to run
          Code:
          apt-get install snmp-mibs-downloader
          and reboot server

For additional info check the article:
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an Internet-standard protocol for managing devices on IP networks. net-snmp is the main SNMP implementation for Linux and BSD platforms. On Ubuntu or De…

            i am using debian.
i have used the same command and it was installing.
            rebooted the server.

i have also downloaded and modified the xml of the hp procurve 1810. there i will get a green check mark in the items list.

the switch is not available in the host list

Switch can be available only(!) if Zabbix Agent connection works.
In case of SNMP device it will works, but Red Z letter will be on.

Just check twice that you have only one interface configured.

                      It's screenshot from different Discovery.
                      You need LLD (low-level discovery)

Check that documentation, starts from EXAMPLE.
                      Sincerely yours,
