    Action condition

    Hello there...

I searched for old posts but I couldn't find anything...

I can't really figure out how the "conditions" for certain action works.

For example, I want to get an e-mail if the trigger "Load Average" of any host in the group "blades" goes ON or OFF.

    So, I selected both conditions:
    Host group = blades
    trigger = "Load Average"

But using both like this doesn't work.
Though, if I select just the host name in the conditions (Host = blade1), I get the e-mails just fine.

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks

    Try this:

    Host group = blades
    Trigger name _like_ "Load Average"

If a trigger contains string "Load Average" it will fire up.

      Cool! Thanks!

I wonder why Trigger = "Load Average" doesn't work, and Trigger name _like_ "Load Average" does?

      What would be the difference?

Also, if I add more conditions to the action... are they evaluated as AND or OR, and in which order?
For example: I want an action to send me an e-mail when:
(Host group = blades) AND (Trigger name _like_ "Load Average" OR Trigger name _like_ "Disk Full")

      Cheers.
