    Instal Zabbix-Agent on RHEL 7.6 or/and RHEL 7.7

    Hi,

Has someone an Installation guide for installing a Zabbix Agent on Rhel 7.6 or/and Rhel 7.7?

I cant find the right pre-compiled Zabbix Agent here, or do I miss something?
    Download Zabbix agents

    Thanks for your Reply!

    Best,
    DG

    Try installing with a package.
Zabbix is being downloaded over 4 000 000 times every year for a reason. Download and install Zabbix for free and try it yourself!

Thanks for your reply. If I choose the Zabbix Version 5.0 LTS for example, which Version of Agent will be installed? Currently I have two agents version 5.0.7 and 5.0.8 on Windows one of them made an update not sure why....
And is there also an Agent 2 for Rhel included in the package?

If you want to install Zabbix 5.0 agent, please install zabbix-agent package after installing Zabbix-release package of Zabbix 5.0. For RHEL 7, it is as follows.

        Code:
        # yum install https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/5.0/rhel/7/x86_64/zabbix-release-5.0-1.el7.noarch.rpm
        # yum clean all
        # yum install zabbix-agent
Unless explicitly specified, the latest version at that time will be installed. Now it's 5.0.8. If you have an environment with 5.0.7 installed, you probably haven't released 5.0.8 yet when you run the yum command, or you're running "yum clean all" or "yum check-update" I think it wasn't in sync with the latest repository information because it wasn't there.

There is also a Zabbix Agent 2 package for RHEL 7. If you want to use agent 2, please install zabbix-agent2 package instead of zabbix-agent package.
