You'll need a BACnet/N2 gateway which will convert those sensor readings to SNMP. I can't recommend a gateway, yet, since we're in the discovery process of solving the same issue. BACnet gateways connected via RS485 to the control bus.
I was just searching for an answer on this sort of thing. I have some devices that seem to "lock up" and stop working on BACnet and would like a zabbix alert of that. I was thinking about an active check with nmap and wondering if anyone put something like that together?
Code:
nmap --script bacnet-info -sU -p 47808 <host>
Script Output
47808/udp open bacnet
