    2.4.5 Proxy Queue Large

    Hi

    Redhat 7.1 (downgraded gnutils package)
    see: https://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthr...233#post167233
    Zabbix 2.4.5

Ever since upgrading from 2.4.4 to 2.4.5 (needed a bug fix available in 2.4.5) I've been unable to bring my Proxy Queue back down.

SELECT ((SELECT MAX(proxy_history.id) FROM proxy_history)-nextid) FROM ids WHERE field_name='history_lastid' returns a few hundred thousand records and this number only goes up with time.

There is something stuck/not syncing between my zabbix proxy and zabbix server.

I've done some digging in the logs/mysql and can't pin it, but think I may be looking in the wrong places.

    Proxy
    RHEL 7.1
    Zabbix 2.4.5 with mysql 5.6
Time is in sync with our local NTP server
Zabbix Proxy processes are all below 5% utilization
Server is spec'ed to handle 1500+ NVPS (working perfectly on 2.5.4)

    Server
    RHEL 7.1
    Zabbix 2.4.5 with mysql 5.6
Time is in sync with our local NTP server
Zabbix internal processes are all below 5% utilization

I backed up, deleted, re-created the Zabbix proxy database.

This seems to have resolved the issue as the proxy is syncing data back to the server correctly now. Not too sure what happened but the drop/recreate resolved this issue.
