How to poll once a week

Hi

Trying to setup a zabbix agent item for once a week.

What I am trying to do is check to see if any patches are need on servers, but I don't want it to poll more than 1 a week. seems like the max value is 99999, which is like 27 hours.

Try to use flexible intervals:

https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/2.4/manual/config/items/item

For example:
Interval: 0
Period: 1-6,00:00-24:00
=> It will disable polling: monday-saturday
And then setup default interval: 86400 (24hours) so It will pool just once on Sunday
=> It should work in theory - check how it works in you real use case :-)
