Big-IP F5 Loadbalancer inconsistent data on Current Connection using SNMP

    Hi Zabbix Masters,

Im having trouble in my virtual server monitoring for Big-IP F5 Loadbalancer.
The data i get from CLI snmpwalk is correct when i countercheck it from the data i see in Big-IP F5 Loadbalancer Web GUI platform. The problem is that i am getting wrong data or no data at all when i try to make a graph for it on Zabbix. I have attached some screen shot for reference.

I'm not sure the inconsistency in data is relevant between 1 and 2 connections. That could fluctuate a lot between the SNMP polling and what the interface is displaying.

With that said, the lack of data from zabbix is concerning. If you aren't having problems with other devices, I'd first confirm that a few things are working properly.

Check your logging in /var/log/zabbix_server (or whatever) and look for failures. Running out of pollers? Having difficulty sending results to the database? You may have to jack up the debug level a notch or two. Depending upon the time for the response to be received, zabbix may be timing out the query.

If you feel relatively confident in the stability and performance of zabbix, running a tcpdump packet capture on zabbix and/or the LB should show you where things are getting dropped. If you are getting symmetrical results (for each query, a response with valid data), you are back to looking at the performance of Zabbix.

      Gaps in Data

      Beowulf007,
Here is a link on this Forum that goes into some detail and configuration examples that I adjusted to fix my gap issues. It was also on the F5 platform. there are 3 pages to this link.
