Trying to replace Windows Task Scheduler to restart hosts or Win services

    Hi there,

I have created an action that restarts a Windows service (or host) automatically by remote command, triggered by a dummy item that always fails (in order to cause a 'Problem') which is scheduled at the desired time (interval).

The issue I have is that we accumulate Problems on the monitoring because I haven't found a way to resolve them automatically every time they're triggered.
I have tried to resolve them with recovery expression but the problem expression is still True, which means it’ll keep always as a “Problem” because the dummy item is set up to always fail.

Is there a solution for this?

    Thanks!

My main reason to attempt this is because we'd like to centralise our host restarts in one place and also some specific Windows services, otherwise we'll have to deal with the set up on individual host or find an alternative tool. Can anyone advise if Zabbix is meant or not to do this type for server administration?

I'd really appreciate anyone could respond to my inquiry.
