Monitoring a host without Zabbix Agent?

Hi,

I successfully installed Zabbix 2.4.5 on an Ubunut 14.04 LTS VM.
I am able to monitor the Zabbix server itself, because I assume I have the agent installed.
Now, is it possible to monitor server without the agent installed? The Server is also on SSH(port 22)

yes its possible to monitor without Agents, for this you can use IPMI, SNMP or SSH
