Simple Lab config - NAT problems

I have the following configuration in the lab:

Server running on Ubuntu at 192.168.11.231/24

Agent has a router at 192.168.11.227 and traffic is NATed to its IP at 172.16.202.2.

Agent can ping the 192.168.11.231 without any problems.

What is the best configuration on the Agent and the proper host configuration I should be using to monitor this Agent?

if the agent can ping the server, just use the active agent template and you should be good to go.

for clarity on what the difference is:
Zabbix agent = the server asks the agent for information (server/proxy needs to be able to connect to agent on port 10050)
zabbix agent active = the agent sends data to the server (agent needs to be able to connect to server/proxy on port 10051)

I have changed the agent to be active, and I think it's working as expected. Messages are arriving on port 10051 on the Zabbix server. Why isn't the host auto detected?
