Under which process are External Checks executed?

I would like to enable "log_level_increase" for the process running the external checks, but I have no clue under which type of process this would run under... Poller?

Does anyone know?

I think that bit of information might be a nice-to-have in the Zabbix documentation, such as: "if you need to debug this portion, you can turn on the monitoring of this process: <poller>/<discoverer>/<etc>"...

External checks are executed by poller processes.
See get_value_external() in poller.c and watch out for ITEM_TYPE_EXTERNAL

As for documentation feel free to request this on https://support.zabbix.com. Of course, if non similar request exists already.
